Hey david,
When u buy foundation or concealer, Always by the ones that are water-based, not oil-based. this will make ur skin look less oily!
I used to use Loreal oil control powder. It comes in a square package and only in three colors, but works great on almost all skin colors. Not sure if they still make it, but it was great.
A matte foundation such as M.A.C studio fix is designed to work w/ oily skin, so it lasts well, has good coverage and you can keep your look shine free by touching up with the M.A.C blotting powder.
Other than choosing oil-fred foundations, use concealer on blemishes to reduce the amount of foundation you need to apply. Concealer is designed for max coverage, so this will aid in minimizing the amount of foundation you would need to get the same coverage as cover-up. Be specific w/ your concealer tho – you don’t want to be wearing a full face of concealer, or it defeats the purpose of minimizing foundation use. Apply it directly onto areas that need covering up, blend the edges well, then apply foundation and set your “base” w/ an oil absorbing powder. Take blotting papers w/ you for touch-ups during the day - the bodyshop have a great little purse pack, or you could try M.A.C blot film.
Hope i helped david.XOXO

how do u make powder eyeshadow last for a long time... mine wear off after like an hour

scomiss,
People always ask this question, cuz they notice that mine is constantly on. Ok well normaly wat i do is to use concealer, then i apply the makeup, but there are other ways
.you can try dipping ur brush into water. This works, but the disadvantage is, it stays for too long, and sometimes, it gets realy difficult to wash it off.
.You could put vaseline on your eyes, then the eyeshadow, this def works, but, again be careful with the vaseline, do not overdo it. I think this would be better in the evening, if you are going for a party, because ur eyes realy pop out.
.The best primer on the market is the BOTANICAL EYE PRIMER by BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS , very safe, long lasting HYPOALLERGENIC and very EFFECTIVE
www.beeroyalproducts.com
.Also try mac. It has two different primers. One is a stick that has a little bit of shimmer to it that adds a neat effect to your eyeshadow. If you don't want that, they also have a natural, nude color that you can brush on. This helps the makeup stay on longer and not get creased. I personally use the stick more often.
The last two are obviously more expesive, but they are worth getting. I would realy like to know which of them you tried and worked for you, and which one didn't.Hope this helped in some way......xoxo
Love
