There was an earthquake in kent, apparently it was said to have damaged a few buildings, and disrupted electrictiy supplies, so people please call ur loved ones, and find out if they are fine....i got a text from a friend in nottingham, with the news, so im guessing maybe they felt it up there too.......just thot to let you know....
Yar'adua floors buhari atiku
So apparently, The Court of Appeal, Abuja, dismissed the consolidated petitions of the presidential candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), and his Action Congress (AC) counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, against Yar'Adua's election, for lack of merit.
In a unanimous judgment, the court, which is sitting as the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, held that Yar'Adua and his deputy, Jonathan, were validly elected last April 21, 2007.There is said to be some mixed reactions about this verdict....read more on www.thisdayonline.com
Florida power blackout!!
I do not know if anyone knws about the blackout in florida..nepa took light there..lol.....and they are oh so suprised!!....whilst in Nigeria people do not even think about having light for days not to mention weeks. How spoilt can americans get huh?.......jk...nywayz...thats the news for today....XOXO
